Negative balance protection is a broker policy that limits how far an account can be left below zero after losses exceed the funds in it. The scope differs between brokers: some reset any negative balance in full, others only up to a set amount. Always read the broker’s own policy to see what is covered.
At GCC Brokers, if eligible retail trading leaves your account below zero, we credit it back to zero up to USD 100 (or the equivalent) per occurrence. Any shortfall above that remains payable. The Negative Balance Protection policy sets out who it applies to and when it does not.
