A regulated broker is a financial services company that is licensed and supervised by one or more official regulatory authorities. Regulation typically requires brokers to meet capital requirements, keep client money apart from their own, submit to audits and follow conduct rules. It gives clients rules the broker must follow and a supervisor and complaints route outside the company; the protections differ by regulator and by entity. Examples of regulators are the FCA (UK), ASIC (Australia), CySEC (Cyprus) and the FSC (Mauritius).
GCC Brokers Limited (Mauritius) is licensed and regulated by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius as an Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer, excluding Underwriting), licence no. GB22200739. Your Client Agreement names the company you contract with: some clients contract with GCC Brokers Limited (Saint Vincent and the Grenadines), which is not licensed or regulated for investment business. Money you deposit is held with a bank or payment institution separately from our own funds, as set out in the Client Agreement.
