In MetaTrader 5, a point is the smallest price step shown for an instrument: for example 0.00001 on a 5-digit EUR/USD quote, or 0.01 on a gold price quoted to two decimals. On 5-digit forex quotes, 10 points equal 1 pip. Stop distances and trailing stops in MetaTrader 5 are set in points.
EUR/USD moves from 1.10500 to 1.10750. That is 250 points, or 25 pips.
