Moving Average

A moving average (MA) एक technical indicator है जो एक specified number of periods पर average price को calculate करके price data को smooth करता है। दो सबसे common types हैं Simple Moving Average (SMA), जो सभी periods को equally weight करता है, और Exponential Moving Average (EMA), जो recent prices को अधिक weight देता है। Moving averages trends को identify करने, dynamic support/resistance को identify करने, और potential entry signals को identify करने में मदद करते हैं जब different MAs cross होते हैं।

Example

आप daily EUR/USD chart पर एक 50-period EMA और एक 200-period EMA को plot करते हैं। जब 50 EMA 200 EMA के ऊपर cross करता है (एक golden cross), यह एक potential bullish trend को signal करता है। जब यह नीचे cross करता है (एक death cross), यह एक bearish trend को signal करता है।
